Mind’s Eye Group Attends Vertex Live on Broadway, Celebrates Award-Winning Private Brand Work

Last week, the Mind’s Eye Group (MEG) team attended Vertex Live on Broadway at the DRAMMA Theater in Times Square, joining leaders from across the private brand, packaging, retail, and design communities for one of the industry’s premier events.


The evening brought together retailers, agencies, production partners, and packaging professionals from across North America to celebrate the continued growth and evolution of private brand packaging and brand storytelling.


For MEG, the event represented more than an awards ceremony. It was an opportunity to reconnect with long-time partners, meet industry peers face-to-face after years of virtual collaboration, and recognize the increasingly sophisticated role private brand plays within today’s retail environment.


A highlight of the evening was the recognition of Wakefern Food Corp. and CBX with a Silver Vertex Award for the Bowl & Basket Specialty Prebiotic/Probiotic Soda packaging program.


MEG was proud to support the program through production execution and shelf-ready delivery as part of the broader collaborative effort between Wakefern, CBX, and production partners.


The award-winning packaging stood out for its bold visual identity, strong shelf presence, and ability to bring personality and energy to a rapidly growing beverage category.


The event also showcased the continued momentum of retailer-owned brands across grocery, beverage, health & wellness, and specialty categories. From packaging design and structural innovation to storytelling and execution, the quality of work displayed throughout the evening reflected how far private brand has advanced in recent years.


MEG also recognized Marketing By Design (MBD), the event’s Presenting Sponsor, for bringing energy and creativity to the Broadway-themed evening and helping create an engaging atmosphere for attendees across the industry.
